Wilson Starts 2012 With New Look and Tough Run at SpeedFest

In an effort to broke a string of bad luck that plagued Donnie Wilson at the end of 2011 the team made a change with the colors and look to produce a number that won best appearing car at SpeedFest 2012.  However, the race ended early for Donnie Wilson as he came home 24th.  He'll be back in a few weeks at the Rattler 250.

Wilson Ends 2011 With a 16th at the Snowball Derby

After finishing second a year ago in the Snowball Derby Donnie Wilson had to come from deep in the pack to try and better his finish.  The car was not as strong and he was swept up in a mess or two leaving him 16th in the final rundown.

After an impressive run at the front of the field in the 2010 edition of the Snowball Derby at Five Flags Speedway, Donnie Wilson has once again qualified his #82 Super Late Model in the show without the help of a last chance event.  Wilson will roll off from 29th in Sunday's 300-lap event.

 

A Fourth at the Governor's Cup 200: On to the Snowball Derby

A solid fourth-place finish at the 46th Annual Florida Governor's Cup 200 is a good start to ending the 2011 season with success.  Donnie Wilson will head to the Snowball Derby next with hopes to one better his second-place finish there a year ago.
